Delete your
SplitOwl account.

You can delete your SplitOwl account directly from the mobile app. This is the fastest and most secure method.

1. 1Open the SplitOwl app
2. 2Go to Settings
3. 3Tap Profile
4. 4Tap the three dots menu (top right)
5. 5Tap "Delete account"
6. 6Confirm deletion

If you cannot access the app or prefer not to use the in-app method, you can request account deletion by contacting our support team.

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

• User profile (phone number, name)
• Group memberships
• Expenses and financial records
• Notifications and activity history

We process account deletions promptly to protect your privacy. Some data may be retained temporarily for legal or security purposes.

• Data is permanently deleted within 7 days of request
• Some data may be retained temporarily for legal or security purposes
• All personally identifiable data is removed or anonymized during deletion

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any important data before proceeding.
